MooSooToo borrows its name from the Greek μουσουτού (my your his) a slang expression meaning 'Excuses' and 'Blah Blah'. We are a London-based collective of musicians playing Greek, traditional and popular music and aiming to maintain an aesthetic of genuine performance and quality. Our objective is not to confuse modern pop with tradition, but rather to revive invaluable elements of folk and urban Hellenic songs in an entertaining context. Incorporating a broad range of Classic Greek Popular and Traditional songs in our repertoire we have performed extensively around the UK in a variety of venues and events including festivals, concerts, Greek nights, Weddings and so forth. We have repeatedly made our presence on major British and Greek media such as the BBC, LGR and Hellenic Television ....See our band live to enjoy the passionate and humorous presence on stage, the improvisations, the virtuosic playing, the mystic micro-tones and the distinctive styles of singing.
